1. What is DigitalConnections about?

DigitalConnections is a virtual program designed to foster intercultural dialogue and youth leadership for AI. Through thrfour  interactive online sessions, participants will explore cultural perspectives, and connect with peers worldwide.

What is a virtual mobility? Virtual exchange during interactive zoom workshops combined with peer-to-peer conversations with a tandem partner for intensified cultural learning! It's an exchange program but more accesible and inclusive as you don't need to physically cross borders, but join from the comfort of your own home.

2. Who can apply?

Anyone aged 18-30 from anywhere in the world! We encourage participants from diverse backgrounds, including those who have not yet had the chance to travel internationally.

3. How much does it cost?

The cost of the programme is covered by us and thanks to our amazing team of volunteers!

4. What do I need to participate?

• A stable internet connection

• A computer or smartphone for Zoom sessions

• Enthusiasm for learning and collaboration!

5. What if I can’t attend all sessions?

Attendance at all sessions is mandatory to ensure a meaningful experience for everyone involved. You are very much invited to join our monthly webinars and workshops that can be assisted independently and require no application.

6. Will I receive a certificate?

Yes, participants who complete all components of the program, online sessions and reflection reports, will receive a certificate of participation.

7. What are peer activities?

Peer activities pair you with another participant for deeper discussions that will happen in between sessions. This is your chance to build a personal connection with a person from a different country and share your perspectives on intercultural dialogue and AI.

8. How do I apply?

9. What are the selection criteria?

We are looking for youth who have a great interest in learning and dialogue. The programme builds on the exchange of the participants so we're looking for youth who are motivated and like to share their experience and perspective.

We would like to give opportunities to those who have not had an opportunity to travel abroad, and have a strong connection to their community through volunteering locally. We encourage those with less opportunities for mobility and people underrepresented in global youth fora to apply!

Please note that we take a lot of time to carefully screen all applications. Please write short answers showing your personality and experience, if needed in bullet points. Applications that show signs of being written by ChatGPT or other AI will be rejected as we want to get to know the real you and it's boring to read 5-times the same application written by a robot!
