Dee Diana Ondieki is an undergraduate student at the University of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. She is enthusiastic about learning new cultures and meeting people from different parts of the world. Additionally, she loves to learn new things each day and believes you can never know too much. She is passionate about wellness and wellbeing and takes every opportunity she gets to advocate for it. As such, she loves to be involved in patient education and other community activities that bring awareness about health and drug use specifically. She believes that to see the change you want, you have to be the agent of change.

My name is Delawar Ghazikhail, a 20-year-old student currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) at the Islamic University of Islamabad. I have a deep interest in programming and technology and have always been passionate about understanding how computers work and how software can be used to solve real-world problems. I am currently developing my skills in programming languages and aim to become a professional programmer soon. I enjoy learning about artificial intelligence, software development, and digital innovation, as they represent the future of human progress. I believe that continuous learning, discipline, and creativity are the keys to success in this field. My long-term goal is to contribute to building intelligent systems that can make life easier and more efficient for people. Eddah
Eddah Nzia holds a bachelor’s degree in education (Arts). She is a teacher of language and literature in Kenya. Aside from teaching, she is very passionate about mental wellness and well-being and is the founder of Royal Diadem, a Non-Governmental Organization that seeks to build a compassionate and transformative community that prioritizes inner well-being as an integral part of productive and flourishing life. She is also a podcaster, author and blogger who uses her podcast and writing to advocate for mental health and call society out of the stigma associated with it. Her goal is to use every opportunity available to restore human dignity and sanity. In her free time, Eddah enjoys conversations and meditating.
Faheem
Faheem Jan Badini is a youth from Baluchistan, a diverse yet marginalized region of Pakistan. He is deeply engaged in law, community development, and student leadership, with over three years of experience in grassroots initiatives across Quetta. His work focuses on civic engagement, climate action, democracy, women’s empowerment, and youth participation.
Faheem currently leads three key projects, “Aurat Ke Parwaan,” “From Citizens to Changemakers,” and “AI for Baluchistan”, promoting inclusion, digital literacy, AI, and civic awareness. Recently, in recognition of his impact, he was selected to represent Pakistan and the U.S. Mission to Pakistan at a South Asian platform in Sri Lanka.
Last year alone, he completed over 450 volunteer hours at Lincoln Corner Baluchistan and serves as Vice-Curator of the Global Shapers Community Quetta, an initiative of the World Economic Forum. A passionate writer and poet, he contributes to The Baluchistan Times on local and social issues.
Faisal
Muhammad Faisal Rehman is a 23-year-old graduate student from Pakistan, currently pursuing his Master’s in Materials Science and Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, graduating with a Gold Medal for academic excellence. Faisal’s research spans nanomaterials, sustainable textiles, and advanced membranes for water desalination. Alongside his academic pursuits, he has held leadership roles, including President of INNOTEX, a student society for innovation and sustainability, and coordinator of international conferences. He has also received multiple awards for innovation, leadership, and academic achievements. Passionate about interdisciplinary solutions, Faisal aims to bridge materials science, technology, and sustainability. Through Digital Connections, he hopes to contribute to intercultural dialogue on AI while expanding his global perspective on ethical and inclusive technology futures.

Mbinkar Flora Leinyuy is a result-driven humanitarian with a strong background in community mobilization, human rights advocacy, logistics and operations management. With over 4 years working with local and national organizations, Flora has developed a passion for promoting sustainable and inclusive development. Her expertise includes community engagement, project management and supply chain optimization. Flora is committed to using her skills to drive positive social change and promote human rights. She is interested in collaborating with like-minded individuals and organizations to create long-term impact.
Ifeoma
Stephanie Ifeoma Ilechukwu is a young professional with a background in law and expertise in risk compliance, governance advisory, and due diligence. Her interest in AI safety and accountability stems from her years in practise where she interfaced with risk mitigation before they cause harm. Stephanie is interested in applying the ethical principles of AI into models from the ideation stage to post-deployment with the goal of building a future where AI is responsible, fair and trustworthy. She recently participated in the Apart Research Sprint, where she worked with a team to research CBRN risks with a focus on nuclear enrichment and the misuse of AI in nuclear proliferation.

Jawad Ghazikhail, I want to join DigitalConnections because it brings together two things I really care about: technology and connecting with people from different cultures. As a 23-year-old Computer Science student, I’ve always been interested in how digital tools can help us learn, communicate, and understand each other better. Growing up in a multilingual environment, I’ve seen how small efforts in communication can build trust and create strong relationships. This programme feels like a great opportunity to learn from others around the world, share ideas, and see how technology can be used for education, inclusion, and dialogue. I’d love to contribute my Computer Science background, teaching experience, and passion for teamwork to the group. I believe I can learn a lot from the discussions and also share useful perspectives from my own community. Joining DigitalConnections would be an amazing chance to grow personally, make new friends, and work together toward a more connected and understanding world.

Lamiae
Lamiae Zeriouh is a Moroccan Amazigh advocate for civic engagement. She is currently a PhD researcher in Digital Anthropology at the University of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah, Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences, Dhar Al Mahraz, Fes, Morocco. She got her Master’s degree in Language, Communication & Society Studies from USMBA, FLDM, FES, Morocco. Her research focus is on digital culture, digital humanities, online communities, online normativity, mobile communication, mobile technologies, mobile intimacies, digital storytelling and the intersection between the human and the digital.
Lamiae is a certified alumna of the Leadership Young Change-Maker Online Program 2023 by the Swiss Centre of Competence for International Cooperation. She was also a former fellow at the RIWAYA Digital Narrative Institute, where she worked on a digital socio-political narrative project exhibited on the Zone of Experimental Storytelling in collaboration with Washington State University-Vancouver, The NEXT, and the Electronic Literature Lab. In 2024, she advanced to the semifinal stage of the MENA Region SLAM Poetry Competition “Echoes of Change”, held at the American Arts Center in Casablanca and funded by The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom. Besides, she received an honorable mention in the 2024 Peter Drucker Essay Challenge in Austria. Given her eagerness for civic engagement and artivism, lamiae joined the Endangered Languages Project/ Storytelling online program in November 2024. As a result, she designed two digital cultural narratives which were presented and screened during the International Mother Tongue Day Webinar on 21st February 2025 and also screened in the International Conference on Language Documentation & Conservation on 5th March 2025, Hawaii, USA.
Currently, Lamiae is a Language Revitalizer Accelerator Fellow at Wikitongues, documenting Bio-cultural knowledge of the Rifi Amazigh community. Additionally, she is an alumna of an online research fellow trainee in the Critical Public Policies Analysis and Citizenship program at the Arab Reform Initiative think tank, with a policy paper project under review. She is also a recent alumna of the E-Safe Impact program about AI ethics, which advocates for Digital Literacy, Digital Rights, and Digital Ethics, funded by the Diaa Foundation and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in Morocco. Lamiae holds a profound passion for writing both academic and creative and even digital narrativity, with an Eco-narrative in the international outlet Panorama: The Journal of Travel, Place, and Nature 2023, a short story in MonoNoAware Anthology 2024, and a creative non-fiction paper published in the Anthology of Festive African Writing Vol.3 by BrittlePaper journal 2024, a published article on Brolly Journal, Uk, 2025, as well as two published poems on SHINE poetry series 2025.

Kenyaupli Lucien Ndimongang is an aspiring Biomedical Engineer, a passionate mental health advocate, an entrepreneur and a community leader from Cameroon. She serves as the Program Manager at Her Blueprint Africa Bamenda Branch and leads “Let’s Talk About Mental Health,” an initiative that fosters open conversations about mental wellness among young people. Kenyaupli is also a facilitator and content creator at Safe Space: The Care Shop, where she promotes emotional intelligence, resilience, and youth mental health. Her advocacy focuses on creating safe and inclusive spaces for young people to understand and prioritize mental well-being. With a strong background in STEM and social impact leadership, she is committed to bridging the gap between technology, healthcare, and mental health awareness to drive sustainable changes in her community and beyond.
Nadine
Nadine Bindey is a 25-year-old dynamic Cameroonian devoted to peacebuilding and climate justice. With a Master’s degree in International Relations specializing in communications and public policy, she volunteers as an Early Warning and Early Response (EWER) monitor for Civic Watch Cameroon. Nadine has over three years of experience in conflict monitoring, countering disinformation, and engaging communities affected by conflict in Cameroon. She is passionate about protecting vulnerable communities and holding institutions accountable, directly contributing to the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) and Youth, Peace and Security (YPS) agendas. Beyond her professional pursuits, Nadine is committed to fostering dialogue and understanding across cultures. She believes in the power of intercultural exchange and digital innovation to promote inclusive, ethical, and sustainable societies globally.
Petshal
Petshal Maiwan is a young lawyer from Nigeria with a strong passion for AI safety and governance. She currently serves as a Research Fellow at the Responsible Artificial Intelligence Governance Initiative Nigeria and is an active member of Effective Altruism Nigeria. She is also enrolled in the Bluedot AI Governance Course, where she has deepened her understanding of the critical importance of AI safety and governance in a rapidly changing world. Driven by her commitment to ensuring responsible AI development, she aspires to build a career in AI governance and views this opportunity as a valuable steppingstone toward achieving that goal.

Ngoh Precious Fon is a passionate technology advocate from the Northwest region of Cameroon, currently residing in Douala due to the sociopolitical crisis in his hometown. As a TIC Summit Alumni, he is deeply interested in cloud computing and artificial intelligence and is also a dedicated photographer and climate activist. Precious serves as a program facilitator at the TIC Foundation, working to empower the next generation of tech entrepreneurs.He also volunteers as a mentor and program facilitator at Open Dreams, a non-governmental organization committed to equalizing access to education for high-achieving, low-income individuals.
Shruchi
Shruchi Singh is currently pursuing a master's in public policy from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. Her interests lie in studying the adoption of AI in healthcare, especially examining how cost-effective it will/ will not be when deployed in resource-constrained settings. Previously, she worked AI accountability to actors across the AI lifecycle. She is also a research fellow at the AI Safety Collab at the European Network for AI Safety.
